I already warned Zelda about giving the benefit of the doubt in general, and about Erol specifically. It appears to have gone in one pointy ear and out the other.
Most places do, I'm sure. Though I don't quite understand the connection. I'm aware of the impermanent deaths. What sort of 'punishments' are given out here, and for what crimes?
Making mistakes less dangerous in other places is what I mean.
Harm someone else, first time you get a warning, second time a random punishment. Kill someone else, you go to the brig for three days. Kill a crew member, you get a punishment that will break you.
Is it not a little difficult to believe good things said when there are none said? Aside from words, is it not a little more powerful for us to believe in actions rather than colloquial speech?
I think given the idea that some may not understand a particular position, it can lead to misinterpretation and assumptions. Some people deserve a little more credit than what they may be given.
[And by that she means herself, but she's not going to say it.]
[She doesn't need to hear this. She's not claiming that Erol's justified in his actions. It does make her pause and does irritate her--to put it lightly--and that's a severe understatement.]
I never once claimed that I defend him or his actions. I would appreciate it if people did not assume that I have, or currently do so, or will do so in the future. That was all I meant. I have left no room for deliberate misconstruing of my words.
Well your actions are saying otherwise, Princess. You should really step back and take a good look at how you're coming off to other people. The Christine-double isn't a good look for you.
