One of my new favorite movies is I heart Huckabees. You might want to watch it if you get a chance. It's on the similar train of thought with most of what you said.

And I don't think the way you feel needs sympathy. It's real. We aren't really as important as we like to think and most things are obsolete. Or maybe I'm just jaded.

Oh well, anyway, it's a good movie.
