They've been around a long time and always been "hardcore" in the West Coast scene atleast and always been straightedge. I actually have a video of them from like '98 and kids are head walking and piling on each other to sing along.

something just isn't right.
like their selling "hardcore".
selling it to kids like a fad.

I enjoyed AFI's older stuff as well. But something just feel right when you turn on the Television and see that stuff.

i mean it's cool.
it's what I'd put in a video.
but hardcore isn't mtv.
and i don't know one single person that wants it to be that way.

hardcore may be underground, but it's the way we want it.
that sounds elitist, but i'm pretty most people would agree with me there.

my friend Xed up for the AFI.
She did it because a lot of other kids were doing it.

eh yeah they've been considered hardcore for some times and I mean out of the time frame of hardcore.. they really didnt have too many breakdowns originally but, yeah.. just for the fact AFI sucks thats stupid.
