I think it'll be fine. Thanks for your concern! The cat loves ex-neighbor at the least and clearly there are other people engaged in her well-being. I don't think this will happen a second time.

Oh good. I mean, it is still awful that she left the cat in the first place, but I hope this means the cat will be well.
