I've decided to become an adventurer. After years of playing these games where my characters are so adept, it's finally occurred to me that it wouldnt be impossible to do some of that myself. Hey, it's Brendan. Finally joined this whole "evil livejournal thing" so I thought I'd catch up on reading everyone else's. Haven't really posted anything yet, but some pics are up on my deviantart site (Pyrrhus). That's awesome about the raise and damn, you have to celebrate by writing. You're itching to and I can sense it. No one writes about the "ugly head of corporate hiring policy" without a heavy dose of latent literature leaking into his bloodstream.
So. Go for it. Take the job, get the money, write the book. Fuck corporate by doing their job competently and taking their money . . . they'll never expect it.
Back to the blood: I expect to see that literature of yours decanted, congealed, smoothed and polished by the time I get back.
