It's an absolute jigsaw puzzle of imagery. Love the elephant. Love the tension.

lovely. The title is one of my favorite poems...became so after I almost drowned when people thought I was waving...

and well written, thank you.

I'm glad you didn't drown!

I love the poem, as well. It's so simple, but at the same time...not.

yeah, it was horrifying...but somehow I got back to the beach *shudders*

and the poem means so much on so many levels..I also have to think about it whenever I see celebs painfully smiling at the cameras of the paparazzi...or people who are in crowds and it's still obvious that they are alone...

I loved lots of things about this. The elephant might have been my favourite - although it took me far too long to work out what it meant. Obviously I'm as blind as John was. I also especially liked the way you had Sherlock and John talk and interact like grown men; their conversations felt very masculine. Outwardly straightforward and at the same time not. Clever writing.

I asked my friend. She told me about that phrase which I'd never in my life heard of *HEH* But it was still a cute fic!

I giggled myself silly with the bath. Must be very, very careful with the sponge. :P
