Yeah, I noticed an overabundance of Jane Austen myself. And there are plenty there I've read but don't like. Brave New World, for instance. If I could, I'd go back in time and make sure Huxley overdosed on heroin before he had the chance to write it.
Gatsby made me want to kill anyone even tangentially related to fitzgerald. It wasn't Ethan Frome bad, but close. The only one I've read that you haven't appears to be Alice in Wonderland.
I'd argue that some of those are so obscure that they don't really deserve to be in a top 100 list. I'm completely unfamiliar with some of those names, and I fancy myself a classic novel snob.
My family had the basic classic stuff growing up; The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, the Uncle Remus books. But while I had a couple of those read to me as a kid, Alice just never did much for me. Maybe it's just that Carroll's idea of a "crazy" world seemed boring by my standards. :)
