I've not posted much for the last year or more, so here's an update...

Last week, I started working as a contractor for Federal Express, in their data center.  The title of the position is Unix administrator, though at this point, I'm just doing monitoring of production systems and paging out when problems arise.  However, this will lead to bigger

In completely tangental news, Duckie (little Duckie) is, if all goes well, traveling back from Thresholds with us and is going to be living very close to y/our old stomping grounds. We're leaving Sunday or early Monday, spending a little time in DC before the gatehr.

And it's finally raining. Finally!

The contract is for 11 months, but Fed Ex can hire me at any time up to the last day of my contract (Wierd, yes, I know) The drive is 38 miles, down I-4, but my shift is early (7-4) at the moment, so I've not had any major traffic issues.
