Rice paddies on hills

I am not an avid fan of rice. It is a staple food, readily available in most places in the world and what not. But I can't just stand the idea of the amount of methane gas that the swampy cultivation technique brings to the equation. However, the rice terraces are quite beautiful, and quite impressive. People who cultivate on terraces really knows
