Since I'm doing my diss. loosely based on Felix Guattari, everything I seem to read reminds me of something in one of his books. I'm infatuated with Chaosmosis at the moment, but I've been reading up on Zen Buddhism. It seems that D&G are like a little theory Buddha's within the continental tradition. Just a note to myself. In Chaosmosis, Guattari says, perhaps hinting at this Satori-moment that occurs within psychosis, "Psychosis starkly reveals an essential source of being-in-the-world" (p.77 - Chaosmosis)... its not an escape from reality or a dysfunction of inner-experience, but rather an expression of one's surroundings. In a moment, the psychotic realizes that things are not what they seem.
