Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
So we is flying out of the friendly 8 isles and heading to what the Hawai'ians refer to as the 9th island......Las Vegas.
And one of the first views we get is on the strip of Excalibur, one of the resort hotels.
One of main reasons we come to Las Vegas is to go out to Grand Canyon and we take trip, leaving early in morning, visiting Hoover Dam on the way.
It is amazing place with rocks over 2,000 million years old.
And me even get to become Junior Park Ranger and make new friend. Though at times me not pleased about CCL dangling me over edge. But he very pleased to see that Health and Safety idiots not reach here yet and it up to you to keep safe on sheer edges using that almost extinct faculty, 'Common Sense'.
They even has Museum there with original boats and film equipment of crazy pioneers who map Colorado River and the canyon.
So we is in Sin City and CCL wish to see the 'Strip'. On there we see hotels representing everything! Paris, New York, Monte Carlo, the Pyramids, Venice. Sheeeeeesh!
Human cannot resist machines and lose $10, and then wonder as he is such high roller why he not offered suite at MGM Grand.
Instead he have go at CSI Experience to see if he could be forensics expert. Amazingly he solve case and have staff arrest ME!!! Psssssh!
And finally, in Downtown, we find the funniest Burger Bar ever, that celebrates the fact they is so unhealthy. And it is full of peoples!!!
As we wander the Strip in 40C heat CCL see Stratosphere Tower, going up over 900 feet above Strip and he find at top are 3 rides. One that shoot you up above 10000 feet above street at G Force and 2 that spin you or drop you over edge of tower. I draw line at such insanity, but guess what, human of very little brain go on all three!! Crazy man.
And so it is time to leave Las Vegas and take an overnight flight, with another different airline, USAirways, to Philadelphia, where we is going to meet one of the Queens of LJ birthday greetings, raettawy.
We is looking forward to that.
