Oh, you guys... *blushes* Thank you. You guys were great to wander around with in this city.

I think that's a great way to see NYC! I hope you love it as much as I love it! If you have time (and inclination) I think that you might really like the USS Intrepid, if you have time. Oh, and there is the Strand Bookstore by Union Square. It's a wonderful bookstore. It's at the corner of 12th and Broad.

PS. Why did you guys take a photo of the shoeshine stand? Just curious... Although if I'd known you were into shoe shines, I would have taken you to the marginally classier one at 30th St. Train Station!

Really? Huh. I haven't quite figured out why they have started to reappear lately myself...

And there is something nostalgic and fun about watching them.

Wow, I was so disappointed that work had got in the way of seeing all of this as it unfolded.

Miss R certainly appears to have been a tremendous host with all that she has taken you to see. One day, when I do my own around the world trip, I will have to stop off and see all of our LJ friends as well. I would have loved a guided tour of the Egyptian museum at UPenn. I'd love to see a US uni one day too. Raettawy?? You catching this??? ;-)

I shall keep reading your updates... I started with Dublin now I'm kind of doing a Hangover-style how did we get here?? tour.

USA very varied country to see and lots of good 'colonial' history in Philly. raettawy very good at telling oaf how his ancestors got their arses kicked! HA!
