Greetings, City. I have good news.
Cameron Hodge is dead. No doubt he'll return to plague us soon, but at present he is quite deceased. Which means that I may finally, finally come out about this...
As some of you know, I have been working with Mr. Hodge for some time. However, my cooperation was a ruse. I truly and vehemently disagreed with Mr. Hodge's ideology, and always have. My plan from the beginning was to slip my way into his company, work my way to the top, and then proceed to take it apart, piece by piece. Getting close to his person, well, that was a side benefit.
The point is, he has been temporarily removed, and in the interval between his death and the porter resurrecting him, I suggest we remove his fangs.
Lawyers of the city, if you so wish, I can provide extensive evidence that Cameron Hodge was involved in various money laundering schemes among other illegal sources of income, illegal weapons manufacture, and the torture of one Layla Miller - the former of which I was not involved in (investigate it all you like) and the latter of which I could do nothing to stop, alas. As to why I have kept my silence until now, I wished merely to wait until the opportune moment. In his current condition, after all, Hodge can do nothing to stop me from bringing this to light.
Finally, as the vice president of Hodge's company, I am taking the liberty now of a hostile takeover. For the past several weeks I have been quickly and without Hodge's knowledge doing the work of restructuring the company from a nonprofit dedicated to unfair discrimination against a large segment of this city's population into a legitimate technology and engineering firm firm. I am proud to announce that StarWave Industries, as it is now called, will no longer be involved in campaigns against the mutant population of our city.
Again, I apologize for allowing this to go on for so long, but timing is, as they say, everything.
