Hello. I uh - I apologize for something so out of the blue, but I was wondering - how much do you know about the device that brought us here? It's really simply idle curiosity, I was a Physics professor back home, you see... I was thinking it might, well, be an interesting subject to write a paper on. Don't you think it may be interesting? But I unfortunately know next to nothing about it, besides the facts everyone already knows.

Well, I'm curious. If someone was interested in getting a job as a teacher in this city, how would that person go about doing such a thing? Considering, well, the state of educational records and doctorates and the like being back in our own worlds. Do you understand the dilemma?
