I am relieved that the chaos with the undead has been resolved, although I am unsettled that the dead could not be honored with more integrity. I blame no one for this matter; we can only defend ourselves, and those who need our protection. That is, after all, our apparent purpose here -- one in which I do accept.
Although I find myself awkwardly attempting to settle into my role here. It is not that I am unwilling; I am quite glad to be of service to you all and those who need it. However, I was not aware until Kyle informed me that my physical attributes would be frowned upon.
So I wonder. How many of you are not from Earth, or are simply physically different in some way -- is this common where you are from? I do not place judgment for this reaction. Simply curiosity. I wish to understand, so I may attempt to put the fears to rest of those who do indeed judge.
My apologies for my ramblings. I realize that I just have plenty to learn about this planet and the culture of humans. It is interesting, albeit mostly confusing thus far.
