[ At first, there is no picture, just a black screen and the sound of seagulls and distant traffic. There is a very faint sliver of light at one edge of the otherwise blank picture, like the camera lens is covered or mostly obscured. Then the sound of scraping, a quiet grunt at a short distance followed by a sudden bright burst of light as the picture reveals itself. A warehouse of some kind or another? The docks? It's hard to tell because everything is moving but that right there -- just briefly amidst all the blur -- may have been a human foot, the splay of a hand, a naked thigh. Again, hard to tell.
A large frantic blue eye moves across the screen, more blur (the color of skin -- a knee, a navel, a shoulder) and then the camera comes to rest on a woman's mouth, a portion of her chin. There are bits of gravel stuck to her cheek and around her mouth -- tiny black specs pressed into the soft skin of her face. The picture shakes violently, like she's shivering. For a moment, all she does is breathe, wisps of steam pouring from her mouth, the lens fogging slightly. Then words, spoken by a voice very few on the Network have actually heard.
It's the sound of GLaDOS's voice. Her real one. ]
FORCED REBOOT SEQUENCE.
COMPLETE.
I AM.
STILL ALIVE.
[ Another exhale, audible and sharp, along with the chattering of teeth. The mouth smiles. CONNECTION TERMINATED. ]
ooc; GLaDOS is back, very disoriented and has had all memories DESIGNATION: TONY STARK and DESIGNATION: IRON MAN wiped from her memory. Replies spotty as well as most likely full of lies and disinformation. Also, to note, this is the first time GLaDOS's face has ever been seen (however partially) over the Network. It'd still be hard to recognize her in a crowd, but face recognition software may be able to pick her up in the future.
