i ✔ [ the adventure of the lost doctor ]
[ The feed clicks in and out, screen going completely blank and getting some interesting shots of a tweed suit coat and the concrete as its owner fumbles with it. It’s a curious device and he’s trying to figure out exactly what it is, but logic and a few key presses help him deduce that this is, in fact, a telephone of some sort. ]
Well, that’s interesting…
[ Is it electric, he wonders and he continues to examine the outer casing, camera turned towards his face as he looks down upon the small lens. Watson feels out of place in this modern backdrop and his traditional Victorian suit isn’t helping him blend much into the environment either.
He turns the device to look at the screen. Video recording?… he’s not really sure what any of this means in the grand scheme of things, but this telephone is a means of communication and he might as well use it for such. ]
Uhm… this is Doctor John H. Watson… I was wondering where exactly this is? It is very much unmistakable that this is not London. I need to get back there as soon as possible.
Some explanation of this might be helpful as well; any piece of information to assist in solving this mystery.
