It is then followed by a sound comparable to a modem screeching - or was it still a scream? - before dying out abruptly.
Soon enough, there's some clicking and whirring sounds, and the comm moves up, showing Mecha Sonic's shiny red eyes and sparkling metal face looking down at the screen. Even if his face can't show much emotion, his voice manages to convey something resembling irritation as he's testing his revived systems.]
