Okay, so. I was all set to dismiss some of the stuff that's going on. Honestly, half of it just sounds like mass hysteria, every person who does one little thing out of their routine suddenly getting accused of being brainwashed. It's not right.
But that post from the Major earlier...yeah, a little too creepy, right? So I decided to try to hack some of the private encryptions he had going on under the main message. And I found out something really bad. But with the cops getting shot by their own guys and thrown in jail and all, I don't know if I can trust going to them with it...but there's a bunch of guys offering to help now, so I figure I'll just toss this out there and let you guys deal with it.
According to the info I dug up, there's something like...thirty-five percent of the Imports who've been affected. I dunno if it's just Imports, but that was the number being bragged about. That's like...more than a third of us. Us, the ones with the comms, the ones with the powers.
I don't know if he's trying to get us all to kill each other off, or turn a bunch of superpowered guys loose on the natives, or what. That's all I got. Some of those encryptions are spectacularly hard to crack, but at least I can read German anytime I want.
So, uh. I guess here I am, once again sounding the alarm bell. It's crap news, but hey, at least I did something this time.
