[When the video clicks on, it shows Rapunzel's back as she moves away from the phone to plop down in a chair by the window. Her hair is everywhere, in piles or stretched over bits of furniture, and after she sits down she begins brushing it as she smiles at the camera. Pascal is asleep on her shoulder.]
Hi! I just wanted to let everybody I was talking to before know I found the 'MAC' building and my apartment okay and I've just been...settling in and everything. Mostly. I went out for a while yesterday...but I never imagined there were so many people in the whole world, let alone just in one town...
[She laughs softly, a bit embarrassed, and focuses on her hair for a few seconds.]
But, anyway. I was hoping someone could help me, because I have a few questions. I am sort of getting the hang of having to use money, and...does anyone know where I could buy some paint? I need pink, blue, yellow, red and orange. But other colors are fine also! And I need a brush too. I can make the paint myself if I need to but I would have to know where to get shells and certain berries and plants. Mother always got them for me at home.
[She pushes off the chair and moves back to the table, dropping down onto her knees and resting her arms on the edge then.]
And, I was wondering, can I use this to speak to just one person? [She points at the phone.] Or do I always have to talk to everyone?
[She suddenly looks a bit sheepish.]
Not that I mind talking to everyone! It's just...I wanted to check on someone.
