PRETEND THAT THIS IS ALL NORMAL. So she sorta just pretends that she's totally used to children clinging to her as he clings and then when he extricates himself she, after a bit of (covert, very fast) searching, lands on something to say.]
It appears that quite some time has passed since I was last here, but the weather appears to be agreeable. It seems foolish to stay in doors.

He is younger than she is, so after a quick moment of thought she decides to take his hand, and walks purposefully outside... and then pauses. She doesn't know what to do now, and there is nobody to tell her what to do, and she can't possibly ask anyone. She hasn't even had a chance to anchor herself since everything changed, because that was still only about half an hour ago, and so she is drifting. She looks at the sky for a moment.]
Things appear to be much the same as they once were. I suppose that is nothing unusual. Hmph.

Some months, though I experienced nothing. That foolish porter seems to have simply... picked me up and brought me forward. Things appear to have changed in the interregnum. I should not be surprised to discover that nothing is organized properly.
