[... A little pause as he glances away from the camera in a 'thinking to himself' sort of way. Then his posture kind of softens like he's about to talk about something he's been keeping bottled for a few days. But the smile is still there.]

[He seems almost... guardedly excited about this. Like if he puts just a little too much hope into it, it'll somehow turn out not to be true after all. He unconsciously touches a hand to his shirt, over the very center of his chest.]
