Today, he’s turning on the video feed while also trying to hold onto a pretty large canvas-it’s a painting of the seaside, and while he didn’t paint it himself, it’s pretty skillfully done. You're talking about Nill. What happened? Where is Heine?

If I knew what had happened, would I really be asking for help? She's just gone.

And he's been gone for a week--ported out, apparently.

[Heine's disappearance is a blow to this man, it was clear on his face. He rallies quickly, however, and speaks calmly, his voice serious.]

Don't snarl at people who want to help you. Has she been living in the house or the church, and were there signs of a break-in or a struggle? I'll assume that you have a compelling reason to know where she is supposed to be at a given time.

I'll snarl at whoever I want. ( Yeah, this kid isn't the best at accepting help, but after a moment he sighs. )

It's mostly been the church. It's not exactly a defensible location, but there's no sign of struggle. And she said she'd be here tonight--she would be here unless there was something wrong.

...damn it. ( He had been hoping this was an isolated incident. )

Do you know where he'd be, if he didn't come home?

If neither of them answer their communicators in the next twenty-four hours, I'll assume it's connected. Until then, this could be just a horribly stupid coincidence.

I've already checked everywhere. There's no where else she could be.

It's still not that hard to make a sweep of. She's not that hard to spot.

A few days ago. She was supposed to meet me at the--here, tonight.

And I haven't seen her this week for training yet.

I would have noticed her gone before now. It's recent.
