( Donna isn’t in her starfield today, but rather in a bright sundress, sitting on a low couch with a series of photographs scattered about her. She turns to look at the camera, her expression thoughtful. )
I’ve had a few conversations lately that have really changed my perspective on this place. I mean, it’s a bit like a second chance, isn’t it? To do things you might not have gotten to do before, have opportunities you might’ve originally passed over.
Is there anything you’d have wanted, before, but couldn’t have for whatever reason? And does being here change that, at all?
( She smiles a bit sheepishly, biting down on her lower lip. After a moment she shrugs. )
I think I have something like that. It might be a bit…superficial, given everything, but I’d still like to try. These gave me the idea, in a way.
( She turns the comm so that the camera is facing the photographs. They’re all of costumed heroes, and some of them look like they might have been taken during the recent riots. There’s action shots and candids and grimaces and smiles-who knows, you might even be in them. )
Anyway, to the point. I’ve been planning, for the past month or so, to start a creative collective. A monthly magazine highlighting life in the City, with everything from news to human interest to what’s hot in hero fashion.
It’s in infantile stages, right now, and I’d need a good deal of help. But interest has actually been good, and I’m working on a timeline for a fall debut, now.
Small steps lead to bigger things, right?
