[ oh, look! it's an upside down kara messing with an almost solved rubiks cube. ]

You know what I would really love to do that I've never gotten a chance to do? Laser tag. With all the black lights and stuff. I have no idea where to do it or who to do it with, though.

How can a light be black? Lights are supposed to... light things up, right?

It's a bit of a misnomer. It's technically a UV light and actually looks more purple than black.

So it's a special purple light? Does it still light things up?

It does, but everything's a lot darker than it normally is.

Whoa. I mean, it's cool looking and all, but I don't really see the point in only kinda lighting something up.

It's done to get a certain type of atmosphere, mostly.

Ah, no. Atmosphere in this case is slang for the general feeling or mood of a room or building.

Oh. That makes so much more sense. It would be really weird if it turned out light could make the air different. Unless it really is magic.

Nope, just electricity. Though I do know some magicians.

You don't know magic? So how can you do the whole floaty upside down thing?

supertorso August 31 2011, 01:43:53 UTC
My superpowers are a biology thing, not a magic thing.

gatewhatgate August 31 2011, 01:53:16 UTC
So I guess you couldn't teach me how to do it, huh? It looked really cool.

supertorso August 31 2011, 01:58:51 UTC
I'm afraid not. If you're a magic person, there may be someone who can teach you to do it that way, though.
