Pietro's been sitting around the house carving these puppets for the last month and it's driving me absolutely crazy. Every time I turn around there's another two or three of them sitting there, just staring at me.

[She picks up a marionette by the strings, looking mildly horrified.]So, who wants to buy a puppet? They're hand-carved! Made of wood

They're very...creative, if perhaps unsettling. I don't think I've seen one entirely composed of wood before.

It's the eyes, I think. It's like they're looking through you.

The last one I had in my possession was positively dreadful! I had to hide it away to escape from its gaze. Your friend's are better outfitted, at least, though I rather liked the ensemble I made for that old puppet I had.

That's exactly it. It's like they know all of your secrets and are judging you or something.

He makes the outfits himself, too. He's really very handy.

Has he put any thought into putting those skills to use instead? They would certainly be more palatable without the marionettes eerily accompanying them!

Probably not seriously. But that's a very good suggestion!

If I bought more clothes rather than making my own, I might considering trying one or two out myself! Are there any other skills he's considered putting to more proprietary use?

Well, he paints sometimes. And he makes clay sculptures and pottery.

So he is largely interested in crafting, then?

Amongst other things. He's a jack of all trades, really.

Well, then he should have numerous options, shouldn't he?

You'd think so. His disposition isn't the greatest though.

He's a complicated man. Anything less would go against his nature.

Has he expressed desire in any particular direction? Other than the puppets, of course.

He used to work in a library, but he got fired for yelling at the patrons. He really likes books, though.
