As for what's unsavory to a killer … depends who's doing the killing, doesn't it? But a killer who kills other criminals … they might think they're protecting innocent people. Or they don't want the competition. Or they don't want to get caught and they think playing Punisher's game will keep them under the radar, or at least keep the police less interested in hunting them down. Or maybe everyone who died cheats at poker.
Oy, this is not going to get us much of anywhere.
