The auction's closed, so now I'm appearing alongside our City's very own Bart Clinton to announce the winners of this year's date auction! We raised...a hell of a lot of money.

And while he's still pretty unsure about their most recent conversation - still reeling, really - he's not going to be able to avoid speaking with Erik for any longer. He's trying to sound as friendly as he can, though he's still a biiiit uncomfortable. ]

[Erik chuckles a bit. He is a bit more comfortable talking to Charles now that a day has passed since their previous conversation.]

I would have gone higher if necessary. However, it appears that I am not nearly as wealthy as others here.

[ Charles is waiting for a while before he speaks and he's still nervous, though he turns the video on with a hum. ]

I suppose that's acceptable. [ He smiles patiently. ]
