Um, well, they're a species, right? So they don't all have beards or pointy ears, and they don't have furry feet and they're not Outsiders or dragons and they're definitely not goblins... well, unless they're only half-human, I guess you could have a half-goblin, though I never met one.

Oh, I know! They're medium sized, right?

But what about the very tall or very short ones? There is much diversity in the human race.

Oh, uh, I don't think being short or tall stops you from being human.

Then what does? Only being of a different species?

Well, back home I wasn't human. I don't know what I was, but my friends told me I was awesome. No wait, they told me my species was awesome, most of my friends said I was a moron.

Yeah, the Porter lady made me one. It's pretty weird not being special. [ He doesn't sound too upset about it. It also makes him a little less lonely. ]
