You can heal minds? I didn't think that was... possible.

It is. Though perhaps only with my mutation.

Mutation is an ugly word. Some people would give up everything for a chance to help someone.

If you can't set it free, then the zoo is the best alternative.

...It is scientifically correct. A mutation of the human genome. [ Charles does not follow connotation. :U... ]

Fortunately, it has been brought back to the sea where it belongs. Though I suppose I do agree.

Excuse me, I didn't realize. I thought 'mutant' was a derogatory term.

I'm sorry.

[Man, she really sucks at this.]

Hopefully it will find its home and live peacefully from now on.

[ Charles is somewhat surprised by that reply and he's looking so apologetic at his communicator, as he texts back at a snail's pace. ]

I suppose I can see how that would be. In my world, it does not have the same meaning.

I wish as much for it. I am sure Namora will find its home for it promptly.

Uncommon. Though they did exist?

[ Charles is staring at his communicator right now. Staring hard. ]

My God. What were these individuals granted for such a sacrifice?

[Such compassion. She knows how monstrous this sounds. It's why she hesitated to become a Puella Magi herself until it was too late...]

One miracle.

Have you known someone to do it?

It isn't any fault of their own. The one who grants those powers is a deceiver. Every unnatural miracle creates an equal amount of suffering... and he thrives on that fact.

I had not meant to assume. Do you mind if I inquire further? Who grants these powers?
