How much personal responsibility do you accept for this world?

Murky issue. We do have some responsibility to keep our own on line, sure, but the fact that we were taken unwillingly has to factor in, as well, and the diversity of sources we've come from.

Not everyone's in quite the same league when it comes to facing all threats that'll arise here.

I feel it is simple. Particularly for those of us who had masks on before we were taken. Our lives chose us.

Heheheh. From each according to his ability?

(There's a sentiment I didn't expect to hear.)

True enough. Many of us are more likely to jump at the call.

And I meant it more the other way, that if the even exceeds your abilities, there shouldn't be so much undue expectation for you to meet it anyway.

Heh.

Personal responsibility is not expectation. No one can force responsibility onto you: responsibility is what you take.

Maybe, but the lines between tend to blur more often than not, and it wouldn't do to ignore that. I would imagine this particular expectation could express itself personally, if irrationally.
