[The communicator turns on, and at first all that's visible is yellow. The camera gains focus to reveal that its currently looking at a pair of bright yellow wings. The camera is also trembling; whoever's holding it has a bad case of the shakes. The wings part briefly to reveal... pink hair

[Pinged so hard by feathers and pink and whimpering and shyness. Someone needs help. And this person-- minus the wings-- reminds her of...

She's dropping the usual standoffish way of communicating via text or voice. She's so surprised, she forgot to switch over. So, if she looks for it, Fluttershy can see a pale girl with dark hair and eyes, about fifteen, staring back. Her clothes are simple-- a typical school outfit.]

[She shakes her head, then she nods, then she shakes her head again]

[Oh. Oh no. That sounds pretty awful... and she can relate, in a way. Homura shifts her hold on her phone; a purple diamond can be seen on her middle fingernail, along with a runed ring on the same finger. What it means, no one knows.]

Sometimes people change when they're imported, and they're given powers they didn't have.

I... I only have two legs; my front hooves are hands now. I'm not sure how I'm meant to stand up.

[Come on Fluttershy, you can do this...]

[Homura keeps her voice calm. 'Front hooves'... that's a new one. So this girl used to be some kind of horse?

... Probably the weirdest thing she's heard all week.]

Start by crouching. Place your feet as wide apart as your shoulders. Rest your hands on your knees and straighten slowly. Your shoulders should be aligned with your hips. If you need to, spread your hands and arms for balance.

[Instructions. They sound sensible. Fluttershy carefully puts the communicator down in front of her and slowly adjusts herself. Feet go underneath body... balance on feet... she has to use lift from her wings to get into the right position, but she eventually gets into a crouch.]

[Now, how did the rest go? Oh yes - hands on knees... straighten slooooowly, like a tortoise... she gradually gets on her feet, but she's very wobbly and having to rely on her wings for balance a lot.]

[She draws a hand through her hair to free it from her collar, almost nonchalant.]

[Fluttershy's wings are getting some work from holding her up - she starts to hover with them. The flight feels a bit odd, but at least it works, and it brings a smile to her face.]
