In certain aspects I'm particularly singular among my compatriots, in others I'm so among my entire species. This, however, isn't an especially unique trait among us, to call one of us "proper" excludes the diversity experienced among our number, as we each have qualities the others don't share.

This is most notably true in our blood colors, as neither of us shares the same position on the hemospectrum, while his high position often leads him to find those others among us inferior, save Feferi, who occupies the case above his and rather fervently denies the dubious truth present in his claims.

It is, yes. As mentioned, he occupied the penultimate position, where my own was nearer the middle.

Well, as you can see, I appear human at the moment, and do so a majority of the time. There are exceptions, however, when my native form will reassert itself under particular conditions.

But mainly it's a result of our society no longer being in existence. The hemospectrum is rendered moot, vestigial, when only one member of each caste remains, and only a few individuals continuing to see any worth in maintaining it. All toward its pinnacle, of course. Feferi, again, being the exception.

It's probable that people compelled to do righteousness were influenced by Hope. Similarly, those who went down darker, more destructive paths were influenced by Ninety-six. No other Numbers during that period were active, I would have known immediately.
