Never can tell unless you look, but not all paths will serve the seeker the way he hopes.

[Vic chuckles insincerely. Obviously he's NEVER heard that one before.]

[Vic does a little checking as he continues the conversation. A quick search gives him quite a bit.

Sandman, doesn't like being called Flint Marko. Antagonistic relationship with Spider-Man, Ghost recognizes him. Sand-based shapeshifter, from the looks of it.]

I'm sure you'll meet a fair amount of competition on that front.

Some people probably got powers worth talkin' about, but mine still top the chart.

And so modest.

Problem is, it isn't a chart. Not even a graph, but more of a web. They work on so many separate levels that their points of intersection are rare, their level of comparison low. Many you might consider lesser can be easily used against yours in subtle ways.
