You're up on investigation as ever. We could find Knock-Out, but I doubt that would give us any new leads. We're back on high alert for Fugue, which means I'll have to contact Katurian again...

I think we'll have to move outside of the US if we want to investigate them further. And besides, I've got someone else that can do a bang up job with handling things locally.

I'm contacting Ghost. I want to see what kind of game he's running currently with Midnighter, and who else he might already have gotten as well. We're going to need technical expertise, and though he's not exactly trustworthy, I don't think he has plans to fry my brain, either.

They don't confine themselves to these borders, no reason we should. And Ghost seems to have established a rapport with Deconnick. If he's aligned himself with us, it's possible he could serve as a liaison in addition to his tech-work.

One question, are we sure Fugue isn't a red herring? She's been quiet all this time, and given what we know, may serve as an unstable operative for them. Not someone they can completely depend on. Not quite the case with Knock-Out.

Ha. Update, forget Ghost, he's pissed at me for blowing up the base. Says he won't step on our operation, but won't tell me a thing of what he's running either, or even where he is.

Not like him not telling us could stop us from getting that info ourselves, but it makes him low priority. I'll check with Jack for what DeConnick is handing out for info. We'll keep an eyeball on Ghost's crew.

True. Still, something we shouldn't leave alone - we should get confirmation of her current status or whereabouts. We'll check on Knock-Out too while we're doing the ground work for finding Vulcanus.

Now, he says he won't, but that could have wider consequences. He's in with Deconnick and he doesn't trust you, that could carry over.

Which is why we'll keep an eyeball on him. He might have the tech expertise, but we've got better, and more resources. And more people. If it comes to it, we can shut him down. Right now, it looks like his big alliance is just the Midnighter, and DeConnick. If he and both of them decide to play hardball with me, they'll regret it.

Probably not very. Vulcanus is going big in scope. Worldwide, this time around. The individual agents from MAJESTY aren't going to be big names here, since we're dealing with factories instead of just plain old teams. Still, no stone unturned, and all that.

Enough to be briefly useful, while still being a bitch the whole time, I'm guessing. She could make things easier, but she's not worth the time, and Ghost already has a direct line to her, which puts everyone else on the sidelines.

Not any 100 percent dedicated ones, no. But in a pinch, our own mayor will do. Sam's in good with him. I'll hit the field and see what I can dig up.
