Rules for surviving in a place you're not overly familiar with:
- Get familiar with it. Patrol, find the geography, see the main problem areas or anything that can clue you into what's going on.
- Survive out of the suit. Job, at least for the short term.
- Train, but be discreet. Don't die.
- Stop talking to yourself in the suit Make sure you put the suit on recharge and minimise the use of camo.
- Do not lose your mind, or wonder if you already have.
- Don't think about Mom and Matt are fine. You're the one stuck in a bizarre alternate dimention.
- Study. If you ever get out of this, you've got to finish high school in a few months.
- Listen to the little brat and try and research the place. Try not to think that said brat is about sixty back home. Find out who's been here the longest and see if people get sent back if they disappear or if they just disappear.
- Do your job. Don't die. Don't ask if someone has died here and never made it home.
- Just because you're doomed is no reason to be negative.

Something tells me I wouldn't be completely off base to ask if all the psychiatric staff got taken with the police force.
