After spending most of the morning lying in her bed, staring at the ceiling and deliberating, Angelica had come to a few conclusions that she felt needed to be shared with Pietro. Certain things couldn't be put off anymore. If they were going to be even a little bit serious in their relationship, she needed to be able to be open about it. And part of being open meant including other important figures in her life.
It might not be the best idea she'd ever had, but it was important to her. Despite their somewhat estranged relationship and all the trauma and drama associated with her, Angelica still thought of Emma as a mother-figure. Maybe she'd never completely moved past being that scared little girl who sought the protection and guidance of the White Queen, or perhaps deep down she wanted to prove to Emma that she was an adult who could make her own rational decisions when it came to how to run her own life and who to get involved with. Whatever the reason, Angelica found herself entering the MAC building, trying to remember how to get to Pietro's room, and desperately searching for a convincing way to ask him to meet with Emma.
She found his door too quickly, hesitating for a moment before knocking. Maybe he wasn't in. Maybe Wanda had welcomed him back with open arms. The trek over to Wanda's place would at least be long enough to come up with some thinly veiled excuse as to why he ought to agree to meet with a woman who loathed and hated his whole family.
This was such a terrible idea.
