WHERE: Around town in some random little shops.
WHEN: Sunday afternoon.
WARNINGS: Cute little mute angel girl.
SUMMARY: Nill has decided that she really needs some new clothes-and maybe some food to keep in the church. Even though she has very little money, she tries to buy what she can.
FORMAT: Quick to start, but can be anything!
[Nill had never gone shopping before. She had experienced the two extremes of life; while in the prostitution ring, she had never been given anything except a scrap of a dress to wear and meager food-but while living with Bishop and Heine, she had been given anything she’d needed (which, granted, wasn’t very much anyway). Nill had never experienced the middle-ground, when she’d had her own money and had to purchase her own clothing and food.
So it was both a little exciting and a little frightening. She had put what little money she had-along with the dog tags-into a pocket on her dress for safekeeping. As she walked lightly down the street (this was the first time she had really ventured outside the church grounds since arriving), she kept her wings pressed closely to her back; even though she didn’t specifically distrust any of the people she saw, she didn’t know who she could trust. She didn’t want anyone to try to steal her away again; she would never go back to that life. She would die first.
She paused outside a little shop with bows and dresses in the display window; they all looked like the kind she was wearing. Well, that seemed promising.]
