It's been a year and a half since his fateful arrival in the City -- even longer if one included the time he spent at home -- but it's only now that his plans have come to fruition. The Coalition has fragmented, broken apart by petty squabbling, and with its passing, a void has been left in its wake. Now is the time to fill it, and he has no doubt that he can achieve what so many others could not.
The message was sent, each location primed for the individuals he had chosen. Some might not answer his call, but he's certain most of them will.
Watching from a secure location, he leans back in his chair, settling down to wait for his guests to appear. There are some he knows better than others -- some who will require a more personal touch -- but for now, he's content to remain where he always is.
