WHO: Bruno and Edgeworth.
WHERE: Moonybase
WHEN: Uhhhh sometime in the last half of this past week (a couple of days after Bruno got back.)
WARNINGS: Perplexing interpersonal dynamics.
SUMMARY: Bruno has been pretty preoccupied ever since he poofed back Cityside and is only just now realizing that he hasn't seen Franziska out and about. Edgeworth gets to be the one to explain what happened while Bruno was away, and... wait, this guy is sad that the girl who whipped him and bossed him around all the time is gone?
FORMAT: Paragraphs with freely varying degrees of quickness.
Bruno all but flopped bodily onto a couch in the living room, back from yet another late night at Kaibacorp. One of the conditions Kaiba had demanded when he re-hired him was that he immediately start training the normal citizen members of the D-Wheel engineering team in every conceivable aspect of the machines just in case he up and vanished again, a task which Bruno was really not used to yet. In the whole small portion of his life that he actually remembered, D-Wheels and mechanics and computers and all that had just come naturally to him; he didn't even know how he'd learned it, let alone how to teach any of it.
A thought idly drifted through his tired head about what Franziska would do if she was instructing a room full of flustered Kaibacorp employees. Probably whap them and call them all fools for taking so long to learn this when they supposedly all had engineering degrees, or something. He snickered a little at the image.
But a few moments later, a slightly less idle thought settled on him. Where was Franziska? He had at the very least glimpsed Sirius and Yuugi (and their new friends, presumably ones from their own worlds) and Ruka in passing, but thinking back on it now he hadn't noticed hide nor hair of Franziska. Maybe she was busy with something school-related?
Curiously, Bruno peeled himself off the couch and began wandering through the house. Even at this hour she'd usually be up studying somewhere or another.
