Vic had already started towards the office before he finished talking to Lyra. He didn't waste much time there during the day unless he had an appointment. He had the comm in one hand while his left worked a stress ball, trying to either rehabilitate it since Harvey shot his arm, or just get used to the pain.
He was glad when he got his his reception room to find that he got there, but he could sense her not too far behind him, maybe a block or two away on the street. He unlocked the inner office and waited at the desk for her to arrive.
From other threads on that post, he was able to discern that the assailant could turn invisible, though the only person he'd met like that so far was Ari, Vic somehow doubted he was a suspect. So he started scouring the Network for any other examples of that power in action. With his left hand.
He couldn't help wincing a little as the arm flexed with each movement, but he needed to get past this injury already. Maybe he'd have something to check against by the time Lyra got here.
