She'd been dreading this since she first met Helena Kyle. Maybe even expecting it a little. But Helena disappearing still hit her like a freight train to the gut.
Of course, she wasn't about to just take Dick's word on this. How long had he actually been looking? Did he even know where to look? Selina at least knew someone who could hopefully give her a more definite answer.
Even if part of her already knew what the answer was.
She wasted no time looking up Vic Sage's office address, not even taking the time to wonder if he'd even be there on a Sunday. Her fastest bike got her there in just a few minutes. Breaking every speed limit along the way.
She was in too much of a hurry to even knock. She phased right through the door instead.
