It'd been a fairly eventful night so far. The warmer weather--in addition to the current plague of evil pigeons and rats--had apparently flushed the gangs and criminals out of hiding. And since most people were staying off the streets, they were busying themselves breaking into stores that had closed up thanks to the outbreak. She'd already stopped two instances, leaving the thugs bound and hanging from light poles. The police would get them before morning, but it was almost funny listening to them beg her not to leave them for the pigeons.
Her work done for now, she gracefully leaped across the rooftops in search of more wrongs to right. The night was young, and there was no telling who she'd run into before the sun peeked over the horizon.
