This City was not, evidently, anything like the Wizarding world that she was used to. The buildings were grey and ugly, most of them lacked character -- and she wanted to reassure herself that the entire city couldn't possibly be like this. She'd finished up another loaf of banana bread and left it to cool on the counter before heading out of the MAC and onto the street with a modest bit of money for her inevitable lunch, an armful of hand-written resumes, and enough change for the bus. Writing the resume had proved challenging, since she couldn't very well write down her experience at St. Mungo's -- but she'd managed to fudge it in a way that she thought was appropriate. Not too experienced since there were things in muggle medicine she was unsure about, but she was no greenhorn.
All right, first things first - she looked down at the little notepad of addresses she'd scribbled down and headed to the bus stop she'd written down next to her first stop. Her foot tapped on the pavement as she waited, hoping that the bus wasn't going to be too long. She had quite a bit to do today and she didn't want to be out after dark in a city she wasn't familiar with unless she had to be -- or she was being escorted by someone who did know the place.
Once she'd dropped off a few resumes it would be time to look for some cheap food, maybe a nice park to eat it in -- and then she'd be able to head back home feeling like she'd actually accomplished something.
