Um, Mrs. Maximoff, what shall we do if we haven't been on this planet long enough to have familiarized ourselves with its variety of art to a level from which we'd feel comfortable selecting a favorite?

Well, art wasn't generally encouraged enough for their to be much selection, musclebeast nudes being the only one that comes to mind.

Most of the things I found more aesthetically pleasing, I had to personally create!

Muscle...beasts? [On second thought, she doesn't want to know what that is.] Alright then. You're your own favorite artist. What sort of art do you like to create? Painting, sculpting, origami, etc...?

Well, I generally work in topiary sculpture, clothing design and interior design. I like to craft ideas from various patterns I see around me, which is one reason I was interested in plants on my own world. The colors they would display could be adapted for various outfits.

I sketch a little, as well, but it's really nothing worth mentioning.

Really? That all sounds wonderful, Kanaya. [She gives her a reassuring smile.] Hopefully you'll learn some techniques this year to broaden your artistic horizons even further.

Well, I've certainly found much to inspire me already! There's a far greater variety of aesthetics in this City for me to regard, I only regret that it can be a little overwhelming to attempt to do so in a more timely manner.

That's what this class is for, to put the world around you into perspective, and to allow you to express what you see and feel in a creative way. I'm sure you'll do just fine in this class, especially if you have a creative mind already.
