WHERE: a fancy, ritzy hotel in the nicer areas of the city!
WHEN: Saturday the 24th, 7:30pm and onwards
WARNINGS: stuff will probably happen.
SUMMARY: the much anticipated ball is finally here! see all the imPorts and various NPC guests wearing the snazziest of gowns and suits as they talk

[ kanaya entered quietly and did her best not to make a fuss. she'd put some work into her dress, but she hardly thought it was anything special. she just needed a break this evening, so she stood against the wall and watched everyone dance.

she wouldn't mind doing so herself, but she came alone tonight, so she thought she should feel out the scene before trying to interact with it too heavily. it sounded like a good excuse in her head, at least. ]

I would suspect a lack of creativity in this particular sampling of gentlemen. I've certainly seen a variety of different styles for the male of the species and they have the potential to be somewhat impressive on occasion! The basic form is generally standard, but there is much potential for flourish, should the client be so inclined, or the tailor wise enough to suggest it.

The majority of the young men at this gathering, however, seem to prefer safely conforming rather than exploring these possibilities. In summary, I find it likely that they'll be terribly boring, at least when fashion is the relevant topic of discussion.

Oh, I shouldn't think anyone would be particularly interested in that, really. I'm mostly responsible for outfitting the models, instead. Ms. Edna Mode does wonderful editorials and manifestos on the topic for our magazine, however, she's much better at expressing such ideas than I am.

In what way? I find that her experience in the field has definitely granted her a wide breadth of knowledge in all its aspects.
