WARNINGS: stuff will probably happen.
SUMMARY: the much anticipated ball is finally here! see all the imPorts and various NPC guests wearing the snazziest of gowns and suits as they talk

[As much as Erik and Charles have been enjoying the drinks, dancing and socializing in the ballroom with the other adults, they manage to make time in their evening to head over to the children's room. Erik feels that he owes his grandchildren the courtesy of saying hello and seeing how their evening is going.

Not to mention the added benefit of potentially embarrassing teenagers with the presence of Professor X and Magneto, both dressed up in suits, with Erik's arm draped around Charles' shoulder.]

I do not think there is any... ah, any reason that I should think you were a bad date, Erik. [ He laughs at that and shakes his head with a roll of his eyes. ]

[He raises an eyebrow at Charles.]

[ Charles is smirking, oh so much. He's clearly enjoying himself in his teasing. ]

[Billy spots the two of them and makes his way over, just... raising an eyebrow at the arm over the shoulder.] So... how are you two doing?

[Teddy steps up next to Billy, his eyebrow raising as well. Slipping an arm around Billy's shoulder, he waits to hear the answer with an amused smile.]

[Erik takes note of those knowing looks and turns his eyes to Charles for a long moment before returning his attention to the younger pair.] We are doing considerably better now.

[ Charles looks appropriately sheepish, but it disappears within a moment and he's just smiling very softly. ]

Yes, I suppose you could say that, certainly.
