Tom was just returning from a trip to the library when and odd thumping sound got his attention. Like someone...dragging something down or up the stairs. So he pauses with a hand on his door handle to wait and see if anything would come of this.

The thumping drew closer and closer, getting louder as it went, until finally the stairwell door was thrust open from inside and Stein appeared, dragging a somewhat ratty-looking rolling office chair behind him.

He made it halfway down the hall before noticing Tom, but when he did he lifted one hand in a wave.

"Hi!"
