hello my treacherous friends

WHO: wantsapprentice & deadredbird (later 123youreit)
WHERE: one of Jason's hideouts
WHEN: t-tonight?
WARNINGS: none
SUMMARY: Jason finally up and killed the wrong guy. Slade comes to have a word with him about it. And by "have a word" we mean "knock out and abduct". GTFO THE BATFAMILY, SLADE.
FORMAT: para

After parking his motorcycle in a secure location, Jason takes to the rooftops, doubling back a few times to discourage being followed... but he doubts that he is. For the people he would actually worry about following him, he's simply too low on their radars, and as for the people who would probably like to follow him, they're simply not skilled enough to do it. Still, he's not sloppy, and he is patient. When he finally slips into one of his newer places, though, he allows himself a second or two to be glad that he's finally 'home'. One of his many 'homes', anyway. Home is Gotham. But he's not going to think about Gotham now. It just makes him angry that he's not there.

Removing the helmet and setting it on a wide table covered with blueprints and paperwork, he glances through the most recent posts to the Network. Finding nothing of interest, he pockets the device, then removes his domino mask with the help of the spray solvent in his belt. Rubbing his face with his gloved hands, Jason pauses and listens. If you are or were a Bat, there's no such thing as paranoid — no sound of intrustion, but rather, the subtle auditory sensation of some kind of change.

To his security system.
