That sent me running downstairs to retrieve my long-forgotten copy of "Canterbury Tales" and I read "The Pardoner" right away. If you have not yet done the same, allow me to summarize:

Not bad, on the whole. Wonder how the questions were chosen. It was a bit irritating to have some she'd already answered in the books and other interviews, and to have more than one question from one person in some cases, but she did cover plenty of new and interesting ground nonetheless. I got a job offer! Teaching math at a little private school in New York. I'm still waiting to hear from other places, but this is such a huge relief because I've been worried for months about not having a job, and at least now I know I have one. Yay!!! :D

I'm feeling a bit bereaved over the end of the story itself. I know that discussion and speculation and argument and general fandom is far from over, and that I don't even understand the whole story yet, and will need to do a good bit of rereading before I do - so I'm not entirely sure what's over or gone, but something is. I just finished, almost exactly 48 hours after I started. I don't think I've read any other HP book so fast, and my brain is so full I honestly haven't got a clue how I feel about the whole thing. Very mixed, I suppose. Maybe I'll have a better idea when I wake up tomorrow morning....
